The Samba Magician

Introducing The Samba Magician
Ladies and gentlemen, you are now in the presence of a true visionary, the one the only, the Samba Magician. Why the Samba Magician? Quite simply because I have skills like a Brazilian and tricks like a magician.
I started off playing football at a young age as you do in the school playground with all your friends and I have really fond memories of my time there such as how we used to do the day after a champions league, the Manchester United supporters vs everyone else. So we'd have like Manchester United vs Juventus or Man U vs Barcelona with of course everyone who didn't like Man U on the Juventus/Barcelona side. The same applied for the Arsenal supporters because back then no-one cared about Chelsea or Liverpool because quite frankly if you didn't support Arsenal or Manchester United other you were a nobody.

I also have other memories like I remember a time when the year 5 would play matches against the Year 6s and I was in year 4 but there was potential for me to be involved in this because for one reason or another the year 5s did not have enough players so 3 boys from the Year 4 class would get involved and oh how I was excited that I might take part as this was a pretty big deal back then.
Anyway, I remember sitting in that classroom when they came in to make the announcement and I was not chosen and that disappointed me and it's stuck with me every time I play football. I always make sure that I'm in an undroppable position because I want to help the team win and I feel I would be better on the pitch because I feel more involved.

Don't be fooled by this arrogant demeanour, I'm really just a "shy guy" so it was kind of tough on me when I had to move to a different school slap bang in the middle of year 8 but anyway here I was in this boarding school very apprehensive and getting used to my surroundings when I see that there is football on the all weather pitch...well it wasn't really an awp, more like a slab of concrete that grinded knees and ended careers...not like that stopped me...
Anyway! So here I was on this pitch just doing my regular thing, a man possessed and it was quite a lot of fun, at one point I did slip up and fall backside into a puddle but that didn't deter others and people commented on my football in a positive manner and I made a fair few friends and it was good times, had a pretty decent football career which maybe I'll get into another time.

So what's become of the glorious magician now? Well right now I'm playing for Charlton Athletic Deaf Football Club and have been for...quite some time and it has its good times and bad times but overall I'd say I really do enjoy playing for them and the people there are a cool bunch. Again there's more I should say but I'll leave that for another time.
Right now I'm enjoying my game and there's always room for improvement so I suppose this is chronicling my journey there to the high life.
Ladies and gentlemen I am the Samba Magician, accept no substitutes.
